Sinoć su u Los Anđelesu 73. put po redu, dodeljene nagrade za najbolji televizijski/serijski program. Emmy koji se smatra Oskarom u svetu televizije, ovoga puta bio je pravi spektakl zahvaljujući potpunom trijumfu britanske (tačnije Netflixove) serije The Crown.
Druga po redu serija, koja je izazvala ovacije svakako je krimi triler Mare of Easttown, potom planetarno popularan The Queen’s Gambit, a po pitanju humorističkih serija sa brojem najvažnijih pobeda prednjačila je Ted Lasso sa Jasonom Sudeikisom u glavnoj ulozi.
