Zdravo Ann-Sophie, dobrodošli u Harper’s BAZAAR Srbija. Vi ste model i infleunserka, šta vas najviše inspiriše?
Humanitarnost: Postoji mnogo ljudi kojima je potrebna pomoć i mnogi ljudi koji rade sve što mogu kako bi im pomogli. Svaki put kada vidim da neko pokušava da se bavi ovim problemima i kako pomaže onima koji su manje privilegovani me inspiriše.
Sreća: Znate onaj osećaj kada pogledate nekoga i vidite da se osmehuje, da mu oči cakle i da im je telo nekako radosno, e taj prizor je veoma inspirišući i jako je prenosan na druge. Ti srećni trenuci me inspirišu.
Ljubav: Magija koju ljubav ima nikada ne izneveri. Ljubav, podrška, predanost, briga koju je moja mama imala dok me je odgajala je neizmerna. Mama, ako čitaš ovo, volim te. Tvoja ljubav me je inspirisala da guram dalje u životu.
Vera: Imati veru u to da će na kraju sve da ispadne kako treba je nešto najlepše na svetu. Verovati u to da će univerzum vas voditi kroz sve životne situacije.
Kako je izgledalo snimanje editorijala za Harper’s BAZAAR sa fotografom Yongqi Liuom? Kako ste osmislili koncept?
Bilo je veoma divno raditi sa njim. Koncept su osmilili on, producent i stilistkinja. Dobro smo se proveli na snimanju i energija je bila divna, a svemu tome doprineo je i moj pas Marshmallow. Ima 9 meseci i ovo joj je prvi put da je sa mnom na setu. Želeli smo da i nju uključimo na nekim fotografijama, što je na kraju ispalo super. To je učinilo ovo snimanje još posebnijim.

Koji je najzanimljiviji, a koji je najteži deo vašeg posla?
Ponekad može biti veoma izazovan ali i predivan. Naučio me je da budem samostalna. Definitivno je pomogao razvoju mog samopouzdanja.
Trenutno živite u Njujorku. Šta za vas predstavlja ovaj grad?
Zanimljivo pitanje. Definitivno postoji nešto čarobno u vezi Njujorka što ne mogu da objasnim. Čitavog života sam maštala da živim ovde i eto sada živim svoj san. Ponekad zabaravim kako je ludo, ali na kraju se svi snovi ostvare.
Na koju destinaciju jedva čekate da otputujete?
Definitivno na neko ostrvo gde mogu da pijem kokosovo mleko. To je sve što mi je trenutno potrebno. Takođe sam veliki ljubitelj prirode, sunca i okeana. Pruža mi osećaj radosti i unutrašnjeg mira.

Da li imate neku beauty tajnu koju biste voleli da podelite sa nama?
Naravno. Nemam neku preporuku za proizvode, jer koristim običnu hidratantnu kremu brenda ZO Skin Health Innc by Zein Obagi i kremu za kapke posebno zimi. Moja koža je veoma osetljiva i trudim se da ne stavljam mnogo toga na nju kao što je na primer 6 različitih kream i ulja. Kada putujem uvek nosim hidratantne maske.
Kako se štitite od negativnih komentara na društvenim mrežama?
Ne dobijam mnogo negativnih komentara, ali kada dobijem samo ih ignorišem ili lajkujem komentar. Mislim da je to najbolji način za nošenje sa tim, ne shvatati sve ozbiljno.

Da li imate neki savet za naše čitaoce?
Nikada ne odustajte od svojih snova! Budite jedinstveni i ostanite dosledni sebi. Ne pitajte mnogo ljudi za savete, jer svako drugačije gleda na stvari i životne okolnosti tako da je vrlo teško uporediti nekoga i vašu situaciju. Uvek slušajte šta vam srce govori.
Koji su vaši ciljevi za 2023?
Da postanem inspiracija za druge i da usavršim neku novu veštinu. Da se osećam izbalansirano. Da čitam više i da manje budem na telefonu. I naravno da budem srećna!

Hi Ann-Sophie, Welcome to Harper’s Bazaar Serbia, You are a top influencer and model, what inspires you the most?
Charity: There are a lot of people who need help in our world and there are a lot of people out there doing their best to give it to them. Every time I see someone working hard to create change, reach out to the less privileged, and make life better for people I am inspired and honored to be part of the things that I can be.
Happiness: You know that look on someone’s face when they are smiling and their eyes are bright and their body language is open and jovial, that full of happiness is inspiring to see.
It’s awesome. It’s contagious and also inspiring. Those happy moments and those beautiful smiles inspire me.
Love: the support and magic that love provides never fails.
The Love, support, and hard work from my mum to raise, take care, educate and nurture me are commendable and I know how lucky I am to have her.
Mam if you read this I love you. Your love inspires me to keep pushing in life.
Faith: To have Faith that everything will work out in the end in hard times even if it doesn’t seem like it sometimes. To believe that the Universe will guide us our way and things will be fine in the end.

How was your shoot for Harper’s Bazaar with photographer Yongqi Liu? How did the concept come about?
It was really nice to work with Yongqi Liu. Our concept was created by him, the on-site producer, and the styling team. We had a lot of fun and great Energy on set, also because of my dog Marshmallow. She is 9 months young and she was the first time on Set with me. We had the idea to involve her in one of our pictures and it came out super nice. It made the shoot definitely special and unique.
What is the most difficult and interesting part of your job?
It can be challenging sometimes and also very lonely but I’ve also learned through that to be by myself and to grow and do things on my own. It definitely strengthened my confidence.
You are now living in New York City, what does this city mean to you?
That’s an interesting question. There is definitely something magical about New York I can’t explain. I’ve always dreamed about driving to New York one day to live my dream. And now I am here. Sometimes I forget how crazy that is in a good way but dreams do come true!

What place does your dream vacation consist of?
I think definitely an island with fresh natural coconut water to drink. That’s all I need honestly! Also, I love nature, the sun, and the ocean. It gives me joy and inner peace.
Can you share your beauty secrets?
Yes for sure. The thing is I don’t have the best beauty product advice as I just use a very simple Moisturiser from ZO Skin Health Inc by Zein Obagi and eye cream to hydrate my skin, especially during cold winter days. As my skin is super sensitive I keep it pretty simple and I can’t unfortunately use 6 different beauty steps or use any crazy face oils. When I travel I always make sure to bring hydration face masks and extra creams with me.
How do you protect yourself from any negatives on social media?
I don’t get a lot of hate there in general but when I do I just ignore it or like the comment. I feel like that’s the best way to handle it though – not to take it that seriously.

One piece of advice you’d like to share with the readers?
Never give up on your dreams!
Be unique and stay true to yourself.
Don’t ask too many people for advice because everyone is experiencing different things and moments in life so it’s really hard to compare it to someone else’s or your own situation. Always listen to your heart and what your gut tells you.
What are some of your goals for the coming 2023?
To become an inspiration for others and to master a difficult new skill.
To feel balanced and grow my mindset.
To read more books and be less on the phone.
To be happy!
