We had the opportunity to ask Sofia Symonds a little more about her life, career and fashion taste...
You started modeling at a young age? Can you tell us what do you enjoy the most about your job?
The most exciting thing about my job is meeting with new people. Thanks to my work, I’m able to meet and interact with so many interesting and inspiring people from all over and share their vision and the knowledge in the industry.
What do acting and modeling have in common? Which one do you prefer?
Both acting and modeling require you to have trust in yourself. There will be times where you might feel less motivated and intimidated. But that’s alright and the most important thing to remember is that it is part of the journey and experience. Nobody is perfect and accepting your imperfections and working on them will help you grow and create a unique identity for yourself.
Do you have a word of advise for young girl who would like to pursue a career in modeling? What in your opinion is the key to female empowerment and strength?
Yes! Trust your inner self and never let anyone steal your dreams or tell you that you can’t achieve something. Only you have the power to do pursue your passion in life. Surround yourself with like-minded people who believe in you and motivate you to follow your dreams.

How important are social media to you? Is there a pressure to have a large social media following?
I see social media as a way to share my work and experiences. I enjoy my travels and like to share my exciting travel stories and experiences with my followers. People ask me a lot of questions about my daily beauty and fitness routine and I social media helps me to engage that conversation with them.
Can you tell us a bit more about your everyday activities and hobbies, and how do you dress off-duty?
My day starts at 8 AM with meditation for half an hour followed by a healthy breakfast and catching up on news. After that I start my morning regiment of skincare and then later hit the gym. You will always find me in two types of moods – one is when I’m off duty and in my most comfortable yoga pants and sneakers without any makeup, the other is my glam signature look in high heels.
If you could choose one fashion piece that you absolutely love, which one would it be?
It will undoubtedly be my classic Black Chanel bag as it never goes out of style and goes with any type of look.
What was it like shooting your cover project for Harper’s Bazaar Serbia? How did you like being in an old castle in Paris?
To be honest, this shoot was one of the biggest shoots I’ve ever done. I was so nervous and stressed and I wanted everything to be perfect and luckily, I had an amazing team that made it so. The shoot went very smooth and we had a lot of fun exploring the beautiful historic French chateau. It was absolutely gorgeous and dreamy.
